As the last Interact Club event before the color run we cleaned up all the trash on Emmans road. Thank you to everyone who helped out and made a huge difference!
Pls come and join us
This years Color Run is approaching on Sunday, May 22. Kayla needs all of our support so please donate or register on Eventbrite at Roxbury Color Run 2022. You can also register the day of the event but it will be an extra $5. We hope to see you all there!
Today our Roxbury Rotary Club dedicated the Gazeebo at Horseshoe Lake that our club built to the late Robert Badini, a 50 year member of The Roxbury Rotary Club and a vital member of the Roxbury community who was solely responsible for the purchase of the entire complex at Horseshoe Lake. Pictured holding a special plaque given to his son Todd and daughter Tammy by Fred Hall and the entire Roxbury Town council.
May his memory live on forever.
Tonight a group of our Roxbury Rotary members got to together to try and make a servers night. We randomly picked Cinders and had Traci as our server. We collected a large sum of money and surprised her with it after paying our bill. As you can see in the video it was a great night to be a human being.
We celebrate members’ birthdays and anniversaries and today is our club’s anniversary (or is it birthday??) we are 63 years old today!!!!!
What you did to Mooney pond is horrible. You displaced wild life and caused damage to the eco system. You should have given the residents who live on the mountain a vote on whether we wanted this ugly change. I now have been informed that you will be putting picnic tables at the new ugly area, thats just great more trash on the ground the the town doesn't clean up. What were you all thinking?
Totally disgusted with the mess your poor choices have left behind. I will no longer support the rotary nor will I consider hiring anyone who provided the services for the destruction of what ONCE was a quiet and secluded peaceful pond. Shame on you all.
Remember the event is on Sunday, May 22. Register online at Roxbury Color Run 2022 on Eventbrite.

5 Easy Ways YOU Can Help Others
Offer Kindness Proactively. Pay attention to the people around you and choose to do something that will make their lives easier or more enjoyable. Checking in on friends, neighbors, and family can make a huge difference.
Volunteer Your Time. Donating your time allows you to connect with your community and make it a better place. There are plenty of opportunities throughout the year.
Donate to a Cause. Donating to charity can actually make the giver happier and healthier while also supporting a great cause.
Donate Unused Items. Everyone has things lying around that they don’t use that someone else will appreciate. Instead of throwing away these items, donate them and make someone else happy.
Say “Thank You.” This is the easiest way to show your gratitude for someone and it makes a difference in a person's overall happiness and mood.
