What a day! Today we were able to raise $20,000 for Kayla and none of this would’ve been possible without the support from the community. We want to thank every single person who helped organize this event or participated. We also want to thank Fullerton grounds maintenance, PJ’s auto body, Kingstown/truck stop, Tom Smith & Family, Oster Investigation, Jersey Mikes, Cliffs Ice Cream, and the Roxbury Rotary Club for sponsoring this years color run.
Today our Roxbury Rotary Club dedicated the Gazeebo at Horseshoe Lake that our club built to the late Robert Badini, a 50 year member of The Roxbury Rotary Club and a vital member of the Roxbury community who was solely responsible for the purchase of the entire complex at Horseshoe Lake. Pictured holding a special plaque given to his son Todd and daughter Tammy by Fred Hall and the entire Roxbury Town council.
May his memory live on forever.
Tonight a group of our Roxbury Rotary members got to together to try and make a servers night. We randomly picked Cinders and had Traci as our server. We collected a large sum of money and surprised her with it after paying our bill. As you can see in the video it was a great night to be a human being.
We celebrate members’ birthdays and anniversaries and today is our club’s anniversary (or is it birthday??) we are 63 years old today!!!!!
What you did to Mooney pond is horrible. You displaced wild life and caused damage to the eco system. You should have given the residents who live on the mountain a vote on whether we wanted this ugly change. I now have been informed that you will be putting picnic tables at the new ugly area, thats just great more trash on the ground the the town doesn't clean up. What were you all thinking?
Totally disgusted with the mess your poor choices have left behind. I will no longer support the rotary nor will I consider hiring anyone who provided the services for the destruction of what ONCE was a quiet and secluded peaceful pond. Shame on you all.
History in the making at last nights Rotary event with 44 members!
